Winter Tour Season is Wrapping Up!
We had a great time with our tours this past season (October 1st - March 15). For insect control purposes, we are required to have our cotton removed by March 15th, 2020 but we will be replanting in April. We Are Growing Cotton!
Last year Coolidge Dam/San Carlos Lake (our source for water) did not have enough water because of the drought. Our alfalfa sustained itself on rain received in August, September and October. Thankfully these recent rains have created some runoff and our dam now has some water behind it. It is capable of holding 1.5 million acre feet. Today it has approximately 150,000 acre feet.
