Thomas Hartman was born in Casa Grande and grew up on the farm. Throughout his youth, he has been very involved in baseball, 4-H and FFA. Tom enjoys showing cattle and is involved in SAILA which allows him opportunities to show his cattle at shows throughout Arizona and Southern California. In 2023, his steer won Grand Champion at the Pinal County Fair. In 2025, Thomas won the Grand Champion Showmanship Award.
Thomas works on the family farm as well as other farms. He has driven tractors pulling grain carts during grain season, irrigated for his dad (Travis) as well as other farmers and can be seen on the family farm disking, plowing, running borders in the alfalfa fields and repairing ditches. He is also an excellent welder.
Thomas will graduate from Casa Grande Union High School in the Spring of 2025 and has plans to continue his education at a Junior College. He would like to pursue a career as a Livestock Inspector and Breeder. Thomas would like to continue our family farming tradition as a 5th Generation Farmer.
