We are offering tours! Give us a call to book a tour.
Because of our drought, no cotton has been planted but we are not letting that stop us from educating you on how cotton is grown, harvested, ginned, marketed and sold. We have an indoor presentation, complete with video and pictures that will teach you all about cotton’s long journey from seed to fiber.
Followed by the indoor presentation, we have a hayride that will stop at the alfalfa field where you will decorate a clay pot and be given some alfalfa seed and soil so you can grow some sprouts at home!
Our farm is nearly 90 years old and we want to share its history with you so come join us for a 2 1/2 to 3 hour tour and enjoy your time on our farm. At the end of the program, you will receive some very nice hand-outs.
There is very little walking and the hay wagon is very easy to board (solid steps and handrails). We suggest you bring a bottle of water, sunscreen and a hat. We sell water for $1.00 a bottle if you forget to bring any. We have clean restrooms.
Reservations are required. Tours are $15.00 per person.
We offer children’s programs packed full of hands-on activities, music and a hayride. We do not offer both programs on the same day. Children’s programs are $5.00 per child.
